Anika has a flair for music and a passion for life!

She is a Manchester based Singer-songwriter whose influences vary massively But all have a defining element of soul running through them.

Loving classic soul and Motown singers such as Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Randy Crawford and Stevie Wonder she draws on these artists to inspire a genuine, heartfelt and passionate delivery to her songs. 

Her more modern influences include the late, great, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys and Beyonce, who have set her standards high as to what she expects from herself as a performer.

Dancing and acting from a young age as part of school, college and Drama groups, Anika's passion for music and talent for song-writing developed in her later teens. At the age of 19, prompted by a love of poetry whilst studying literature, she went on a song-writing course.

Completing her first demo album which can be heard on this page, lead to some success and enabled her to grow as a live performer doing a few London, Manchester and Nottingham festivals and gigs.

Now signed to Iconic Artist she is in the beginning stages of putting together some fresh and funky new tracks to really attract the ears of Record Companies.
