SAM PICKETT

Sam Pickett is a British singer and guitarist who has performed as a solo artist and with a band across England , Italy and France . Last year he recorded a six track demo with 96.4 Eagle FM which was circulated whilst relentlessly playing in every venue, bar and dive he came across, amounting to over one hundred live shows in the past year alone. Passionate acoustic performances have led him to be dubbed 'Sex Face' by one promoter.
Developing a sound akin to a kind of modern torch singer or male chanteuse his influences range from classic artists such as Nina Simone to the more contemporary Jeff Buckley, John Frusciante and Muse. Along with the conventional Sam Pickett also incorporates more avante garde ideas such as the use of colour synesthesia and lucid dreaming. He is the author of several short stories and a growing collection of artwork.
